Water & sewer certification

A sewer certification is a document prepared by GTSA verifying the amount due on an account at the time of sale or refinance.

Who should request a certification? 

The title company, realtor or attorney handling the settlement should request the final certification.

​

When should a certification be requested?

All requests for certification are due at least 4 business days prior to sale or refinance.

 

How do I request a certification?

We have recently updated our process requiring the requesting party to fill out the form below.  All mandatory fields on this form must be completed and terms accepted before any final certifications will be processed.

Certifications are good until the date on the certificate only.  If a recertification is necessary you must fill out new paperwork.
